We know that health insurance, retirement plans, professional development programs and other perks play an important role when you're deciding where to work. Because Allied is part of Nationwide Mutual Insurance Company, one of the largest financial services companies in the United States, associates are offered the full array of Nationwide benefit options.
Our benefits are built with flexibility in mind so you can find the coverage and programs that work for you and your busy life. We're confident they'll provide you and your family peace of mind about your health, wealth and overall well-being.
Paid time off
Everyone needs some time away from work to fulfill family obligations, take care of personal business, enjoy a special vacation or simply unwind from the demands of everyday life. Your benefits package includes a variety of time-off options, and you earn paid time off as soon as you start working. It's our way of showing we appreciate your commitment to your job and that we're equally committed to you and your family.
Based on where the holidays fall on the calendar, associates also receive nine or 10 paid company holidays each year. These holidays include New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July (one or two days), Labor Day, Thanksgiving, the Friday after Thanksgiving and Christmas (two days).
Health and wellness
We care about your health, which is why we offer comprehensive medical, dental and vision benefits. Nationwide's generous benefits focus on preventive care to encourage seeing a doctor for routine care or to identify an illness before it becomes too serious.
We also offer benefits to help you and your family feel secure, including:
- Life insurance
- Supplemental accident coverage
- Group legal coverage
- Long-term disability
- Family medical flexible spending account
- Dependent day care flexible spending account
As part of your benefits, we offer the opportunity to participate in Nationwide's My Health program, our free health and wellness program that includes confidential tools and resources to help you be as healthy as you can be.

Through Nationwide's Educational Assistance Program, our associates can refine their skills and build new ones by taking college and graduate-level courses and degree programs, professional-designation programs, personal growth programs and technical programs.
